I’m a Front-End Developer with strong expertise in React, TypeScript, and modern UI development, currently working on production systems in a CI/CD environment using tools like Azure DevOps, Jest, and Material UI. I’ve also contributed to mobile and web apps using React Native and Vue.js, helping teams build intuitive, responsive user interfaces across multiple platforms. From component libraries to data integration and testing, I enjoy working closely with design and backend teams to deliver smooth, scalable applications. Recently, I’ve been exploring Web3 technologies like Solidity, ethers.js, and Hardhat, and I’m particularly excited by opportunities to work on decentralized apps (dApps) and blockchain-integrated UIs. I’m open to remote or hybrid opportunities that align with modern product thinking, collaborative culture, and strong technical standards. I hold both UK and EU passports, making relocation or cross-border work seamless. ⸻ Core skills: React, React Native, Vue.js, JavaScript, TypeScript, Next.js, Redux, Tailwind, Styled Components, Cypress, Jest, Web3, ethers.js, Solidity, Docker, Kubernetes, Azure DevOps, Figma, GraphQL, Material UI, Git

I am a remote fullstack developer who's life has been transformed by remote work. I am knowledgeable about both backend and frontend technologies. I share my developer knowledge and my experience as a remote developer on my blog : https://remotedevdaily.com/ Backend: I work a ton with python and django on the backend and am very confident in my skills with that stack. I've also worked a lot with the django rest framework, celery, and postgres. I've done things like creating nice crisp rest api, create web scrapers, parse documents using nlp and regular expressions, implement event based async task systems with celery, and much more. Frontend: I've worked extensively with vuejs and vuex. I am proficient in building out modular components, managing both local and application state, and integrating with backend api. I've also been called in on many projects to come in and perform a large refactor of messy front end vue code bases. I am very excited to be able to share my knowledge. Please don't hesistate to reach out to me for help.

I'm a Principal Software Architect who has successfully designed and implemented complex systems involving GIS, remote sensing, distributed computing & big data, computer vision, web-scale applications, industrial systems integration, among others. Please book 24h in advance - the "Schedule Session" feature will have my up-to-date availability. All sessions come with 15 minutes free - no matter if you're a new user or not. If you're not, we'll just start the paid session timer when the session hits 15 minutes. If your issue was easy to begin with, and is fixed during these first 15 minutes, nothing is owed. If, for any reason, the timer does not start at the 15-minute mark, kindly submit the unpaid amount via offline help.

I began as a self taught programmer, where I learned the art of debugging. When I finally made my way into school at the University of Utah, it didn't take much for me to refine the finer art of computer science methodologies. I have been working professionally now for over 7 years. Throughout that time I have contributed to many OSS projects including FubuMVC, Ripple, React-Bootstrap, Karma, and Selenium, I have also championed other OSS projects.

“Studying with Precious is always interesting. He is truly a tutor who imparts the skills you need when working in a company. Your level doesn’t matter, because that is a path of growth; what really counts is the mindset and being familiar with real situations that you may encounter during programming.“

“Kian hopped on quickly and we got right down to business. He was great. He did not start the clock until after a quick get-to-know-you. We coded up a couple of quick tests to find out what was wrong with my React/MERN app on Render hosting. Fortunately we solved it. Unfortunately it all boiled down to a mistake that Render should fix (Extra space(s) in rewrite rules will not be trimmed and will break your site, even though the build appears successful). Once the issue was solved he stopped the clock immediately, even though he still wanted to look at a few things to ensure that we had solved it. I thought that was super kind. Great guy. Easy. Cool. Laid back. Smart, and clearly experienced.“
