My name is Danica but people call me Dani or Dana whichever is easier to pronounce. I am a full stack web developer with a strong focus on front-end and, together with my husband lead a team of five amazing humans. Working for myself has allowed me to work on a wide-range of projects and companies alike - from FinTech to E-Commerce. I love working on projects where I help solve a specific business pain point using my technical and soft skills. I believe I am most useful leading teams, coordinating work and being a bridge between different departments (such as development and design). Whenever I work on projects, I integrate fully into the team and work alongside them to get the job done. I recently became a mother, which brought new challenges into my work schedule :) As such, I would be available for part time project work or any type of flexible-schedule mentorship. To see if we are a fit, I would be happy to jump into a call anytime! Feel free to say hello :)

Hi guys and girls! My name is Rory, and I'm a full-stack web developer from Ireland. I've been working as part of small teams since 2010, delivering web apps pretty much constantly ever since, using technologies ranging from Rails, C#, Python and Node.js on the backend to jQuery to Angular, RiotJS and React on the front. I can help with some pair programming, teach you about a concept you're struggling with or help you work out a specific problem. What makes me different? I remember what it's like to be stuck with things. I get myself lost on a regular basis - it's good practice and an essential part of the constant learning that a successful programming career requires. So don't worry. I know what it's like to be lost, and I know how to help you get, well, found!

Largest part of my work life I've been working with Sweden's biggest #1 Websites. So working with code architecture/security in mind, site-speed optimisation and big teams of developers is second nature to me. My passion for web creation started as a young teenager. Ever since I have learned many different languages & platforms and web design & technical guidelines from the best co-workers - which gives me a strong base to adapt to any technical project. I strive to make it easy for the user and to work continuously with optimisation - this to get the best results. Specialties: Frontend Architect, Frontend developer, Mobile developer, Backend developer, Digital Revenue Optimisation Expert, Project Manager, Tech-team leader, A/B-testing, PHP OOP, JavaScript OOP/HTML5/CSS3, Responsive Web Design, Photoshop & Illustrator, PostgreSQL/MySQL, Stored Procedures, Cloud solutions, Linux, Redis/Memcache, Git, Bash, SysAdmin/Security, Python, C, C#, Perl, Photography/Photo editing.

If you go for it, you can go wrong. It may cost contempt or loneliness. It may not be legal. I studied for four years a degree in social sciences, totally useless for the development of my current job. I worked hard in jobs utterly unrelated to computer science. I spent tons of time in my sport career. And I don't regret nothing. Only if you live the way you want, you will become who you are. However, this would not justify a lower level, because of that I'm going madness with coding. My whole life became programming. It is full passion and enthusiasm. I've always like computers, I can remember my very first computer: an iMac G3 collected from the garbage. And it worked perfectly! That experience, the sound of keys being pressed by my fingers, the smell of the hot wires, that magic sound that my router did; every time I heared I remember R2D2. Probably my two biggest weaknesses are curiosity and pride. Pride in the challenges. I still don't know why studied political science, or spent time improving my soccer skills, but I think it was because those weaknesses. The same that push me to coding. Curious to know how states and societies function is the same as knowing how a processor works. Proud to beat the challenge of voting behavior is the same as to achieve that these damned api works properly. As anyone, I do not know what the future holds. But I'm convinced it will be related to programming. Coding is something really nice. Something simple, I would even say sensible. So sensitive it can be ephemeral. Do you know that feeling that you have finally found something truly valuable?

“Dejan is one of the best system design instructors I've ever come across. He offered a socratic teaching style which made me understand not just what components to use, but why they're optimal for given features of a system. We even went into the history of understanding certain challenges of systems. I'm looking forward to my next lesson and now feel more confident after working with him!“
