I am a full-stack web developer with a strong focus on front-end, and together with my husband, I lead a team of 10 amazing developers. Over the years, I’ve worn many hats, from hands-on coding to guiding product direction, and I’ve found that my real strength lies at the intersection of **technology, product engineering, and people**. Working for myself has allowed me to collaborate on a wide range of projects, from FinTech to E-Commerce, and I thrive on solving real business pain points. I put as much effort into **people skills and collaboration** as I do into writing clean, scalable code because great products are built by great teams. I especially enjoy leading cross-functional work, coordinating between development, design, and stakeholders, and ensuring everyone is aligned on the vision. Whenever I join a project, I fully integrate with the team, working side-by-side to deliver not just code, but a product that works for both the business and its users. Happy to jump on a call to explore how I can help bring your idea to life. Feel free to say hello :)

Hi guys and girls! My name is Rory, and I'm a full-stack web developer from Ireland. I've been working as part of small teams since 2010, delivering web apps pretty much constantly ever since, using technologies ranging from Rails, C#, Python and Node.js on the backend to jQuery to Angular, RiotJS and React on the front. I can help with some pair programming, teach you about a concept you're struggling with or help you work out a specific problem. What makes me different? I remember what it's like to be stuck with things. I get myself lost on a regular basis - it's good practice and an essential part of the constant learning that a successful programming career requires. So don't worry. I know what it's like to be lost, and I know how to help you get, well, found!

If you go for it, you can go wrong. It may cost contempt or loneliness. It may not be legal. I studied for four years a degree in social sciences, totally useless for the development of my current job. I worked hard in jobs utterly unrelated to computer science. I spent tons of time in my sport career. And I don't regret nothing. Only if you live the way you want, you will become who you are. However, this would not justify a lower level, because of that I'm going madness with coding. My whole life became programming. It is full passion and enthusiasm. I've always like computers, I can remember my very first computer: an iMac G3 collected from the garbage. And it worked perfectly! That experience, the sound of keys being pressed by my fingers, the smell of the hot wires, that magic sound that my router did; every time I heared I remember R2D2. Probably my two biggest weaknesses are curiosity and pride. Pride in the challenges. I still don't know why studied political science, or spent time improving my soccer skills, but I think it was because those weaknesses. The same that push me to coding. Curious to know how states and societies function is the same as knowing how a processor works. Proud to beat the challenge of voting behavior is the same as to achieve that these damned api works properly. As anyone, I do not know what the future holds. But I'm convinced it will be related to programming. Coding is something really nice. Something simple, I would even say sensible. So sensitive it can be ephemeral. Do you know that feeling that you have finally found something truly valuable?

“I highly appreciate the support during my algorithms midterm preparation. The teaching approach was thorough and interactive, prioritizing a step-by-step understanding of complex topics. “Antonin is clearly an Expert in Flutter and guided me in making changes to my architecture that were needed to resolve some bugs that I was struggling with for days. I had already hired several others to try to solve these bugs but they did not get to the root of the issue or provide the level of explanation and understanding that Antonin did. He prepared for the session based on some preliminary info that I sent and even made two diagrams for me in advance. He is passionate about teaching and mentoring, and I was really grateful to have found him“

“Mike is an awesome tutor. He has been helping me learn Go from a true beginner’s standpoint, and he is a total treasure trove of knowledge. He always shows up with a plan and a clear learning path, and he makes sure concepts really click before we move on. The homework he gives has been super helpful for checking that I am actually retaining what we covered. If you are looking for a tutor to help you understand programming languages, I highly recommend Mike!“
