American (native English speaker) living abroad 🙂 Recently evacuated from Ukraine. I teach people how to get projects built fast and become successful developers 🔥. **Free Resources** ▶️ I have a growing [YouTube channel](https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCPsi8tNv7UuNRljOTK5sl4A) where I cover popular requests I get. 👾 I also have a growing [Discord community](https://discord.gg/qA2jRybdRy) with dedicated developers **Why Work With Me?** ⭐ More than 250+ 5 Star Reviews (see my [Wyzant profile](https://www.wyzant.com/match/tutor/87903194) too) 🗽 Native English speaker ✅ EXTREMELY responsive (from 10am to 10pm Portugal time) 💰 Successfully started and improved software dev careers for multiple clients. ⚪ Able to communicate complex topics simply ❤️‍🔥 Burning passion for coding and teaching 👁️ Can provide Process Maps for visual learners **Refund Policy** 💸 If I'm unable to help, you get a full refund. Easy 🙂 **Backstory** I started programming in 2018 after my mentor told me that it really fits the way I think. Before I started I was learning marketing, working in Facebook Ads and Shopify Stores (with Google Analytics, VWO, and other website optimization softwares), I was more interested in automation, and building to do tasks only once. I started at first learning Python for automation (which is still my primary language and what I really enjoy coding in). Eventually, I learned that by itself, Python isn't that sharable if you want other non-coders to use the my apps, so I grew my way into web development, diving deep into Django, HTML & CSS, building multiple sites with only those to get experience, for example: - My website: https://www.zackplauche.com/ - A mini app I built: https://www.dollarperhourcalculator.com And more :) Then eventually learning JavaScript and the Vue.js framework to take my websites, designs, and User Experiences to the next level, building at first simple apps like my DollarPerHour Calculator (https://zackplauche.github.io/DollarPerHourCalculator/), and more advanced ones, like the current one I'm developing (still in progress, but it's the biggest app I've ever build, using both Vue.js and Django). I've been teaching programming since 2019, and my students have loved me. I have students I work with that have been working with me weekly since I first started (more than 5 years now!). They helped me keep both my coding and teaching career sustainable as I was helping them with their issues, training them to be effective developers, starting my own software agency, and building my own apps. I'm extremely grateful to my students and truly care about and do my best to support their success in whatever their endeavors.

Hi, I'm Chris, a software engineer based in London working primarily with web technologies. As an experienced professional with a computer science background, I can help you learn or improve in many areas of software development and am happy to tailor sessions to your needs. In terms of topics we can dive really deep into, my professional toolset nowadays is primarily: - Python - Django - JavaScript - React - PostgreSQL - Docker - AWS (qualified Solutions Architect) I also conduct technical interviews and would be happy to work through some interview-style questions if that's something you need to prepare for. I have around 10 years of professional experience but my interest in programming goes back 17 years when I first started learning Lua scripting as a hobby with a mentor of my own. I strongly believe that anyone can learn to code if they set their mind to it with access to the right support for the questions we all have when learning something new. In the past, I've also done some open-source work and notably managed to contribute a bug fix to CPython in one of the language codec modules. This is something I'd love to do more of or guide others in doing. If you're looking for a patient mentor with a wide range of experience who can break things down into plain English terms, don't hesitate to get in touch! ---- **Links:** - LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/libcthorne/ - GitHub: https://github.com/libcthorne/

How much does it cost to find a Django tutor on Codementor?

The cost of finding a Django tutor on Codementor depends on several factors, including the tutor's experience level, the complexity of the topic, and the length of the mentoring session. Here is a breakdown to help you understand the pricing structure:

  • Tutor experience: Tutors with extensive experience or high demand skills in Django typically charge higher rates. Conversely, emerging professionals might offer more affordable pricing.
  • Pro plans: Codementor also offers subscription plans that provide full access to all mentors and include features like automated mentor matching, which can be a cost-effective option for regular, ongoing support.

What are the benefits of learning Django with a dedicated tutor?

Learning Django with a dedicated tutor from Codementor offers several significant benefits that can accelerate your understanding and proficiency:

  • Personalized learning: A dedicated tutor adapts the learning experience to your specific needs, skills, and goals. This personalization ensures that you are not just learning Django, but exceling in a way that directly aligns with your objectives.
  • Immediate feedback and assistance: Unlike self-paced online courses, a dedicated tutor provides instant feedback on your code, concepts, and practices. This immediate response helps eliminate misunderstandings and sharpens your skills in real-time, making the learning process more efficient.
  • Motivation and accountability: Regular sessions with a tutor keep you motivated and accountable. Learning Django can be challenging, and having a dedicated mentor ensures you stay on track and continue making progress towards your learning goals.
  • Access to expert insights: Dedicated tutors often bring years of experience and industry knowledge. They can provide insights into best practices, current trends, and professional advice that are invaluable for both learning and career development.
  • Career guidance: Tutors can also offer guidance on how to apply Django in professional settings, assist in building a relevant portfolio, and advise on career opportunities, which is particularly beneficial if you plan to transition into a new role or industry.

By leveraging these benefits, you can significantly improve your competency in Django in a structured, supportive, and effective environment.

How does personalized Django mentoring differ from traditional classroom learning?

Personalized Django mentoring through Codementor offers a unique and effective learning approach compared to traditional classroom learning, particularly in these key aspects:

  • Customized content: Personalized mentoring adapts the learning material and pace specifically to your needs and skill level. This means the sessions can focus on areas where you need the most help or interest, unlike classroom settings which follow a fixed curriculum for all students.
  • One-on-one attention: With personalized mentoring, you receive the undivided attention of the tutor. This allows for immediate feedback and detailed explanations, ensuring that no questions are left unanswered, and concepts are fully understood.
  • Flexible scheduling: Personalized mentoring is arranged around your schedule, providing the flexibility to learn at times that are most convenient for you. This is often not possible in traditional classroom settings, which operate on a fixed schedule.
  • Pace of learning: In personalized mentoring, the pace can be adjusted according to how quickly or slowly you grasp new concepts. This custom pacing can significantly enhance the learning experience, as opposed to a classroom environment where the pace is set and may not align with every student’s learning speed.
  • Practical, hands-on learning: Mentors can provide more practical, hands-on learning experiences tailored to real-world applications. This direct application of skills is often more limited in classroom settings due to the general nature of the curriculum and the number of students involved.

Personalized mentoring thus provides a more tailored, flexible, and intensive learning experience, making it ideal for those who seek a focused and practical approach to mastering Django.
