Software engineer, consultant, entrepreneur. I like to get to the core of things understanding the whole picture, not only the engineering but the business underneath it all. Over my career, I have had to relearn many times, from low-level embedded software, to backend, to frontend, to mobile, back to IoT. It is a never-ending process, so being a fast learner is a must. The technology stack keeps evolving, with open-source developer productivity growing exponentially year over year; we just need to keep track and follow along. My firm believes that software is a tool, not a method, and if you can replace an engineer with a service that can be used directly, you should do it. There is a flow in development, flow in production, and flow in work - making it as smooth as possible is the goal. I love technology and programming is my passion. I've been using computers since I was 6 years old in the 80's, and I've been programming professionally for over 16 years. I really love learning new things, so I've used many different programming languages and frameworks, ranging from C/C++, C# or Flash/Flex to Javascript, but my expertise is deeper in JVM languages like Kotlin, Groovy and Scala, and particularly Java. I love the linux command line and I always have a terminal open when I'm programming. I use Tmux as a terminal multiplexor so that I can have multiple terminals and navigate between them, and I use Vim as text editor on the commandline. I also use a Vim plugin for any text editor or IDE I use. I like to share my knowledge and to mentor junior members of the team, so this platform gives me the opportunity to help many more people get to the next level.

“Kazi is a great tutor, he made sure he stayed until I understood the concepts I was stuck on and made sure I completed everything. I had my assignments in C++ and I only met few tutors that understood C++ that actually helped me and not just mess around with my code.“
