Apparently, spending most of my time on unpaid contribution to an open source ecosystem does not pay the bills. Who'd have figured! So, if you're interested in learning more about Nix/NixOS or are just getting started or even looking to learn a bit about it to see whether you'd like to get into it; I'm your man. I've been using (and sometimes abusing) Nix daily since 2021. I do [the Full Time Nix podcast](https://fulltimenix.com), which is a podcast all about Nix since 2024. I hope you enjoy it! I also do [The Molybdenum Software Show](https://molybdenum.software), in which—together with friends—I contribute to the open source Nix software ecosystem. Follow that link for hundreds of hours of that. And [here's my GitHub profile](https://github.com/mightyiam), in case you wanna see what else I've been up to. I absolutely love the sharing of knowledge. So if you choose me as a mentor you make me ten times happier, and I can't wait to help you gain a deeper and more complete understanding of exactly the parts of Nix that you need to solve your problem. So, please, shoot me a message on this platform and tell me what it is you're curious about or need to learn more about or have to solve. I might just text you back an answer, or we get on a call and figure out whatever that is together. To me it does not matter that you're new to Nix, to Linux or even to software. I will mentor you with respect and patience regardess. I won't go on and on about things you don't want to know. I am here to serve your needs, accommodating your understanding, your state of mind, your mood and your motivation. Try me. I was literally born on Teachers' Day. Sessions with me are always recorded and you get free access to those recordings for your review. This is also for my protection. You have one week to download them. Looking forward to hearing from you! I'm sure we'll have a great time problem-solving.

Young generalist engineer graduate from Icam de Nantes (France), I am fond of a lot of stuff. Most of them are linked to new technologies, IT, and software development. I am currently in charge of R&D at Startup Palace, a company providing lots of services to startups, where I actually do many different things (which is something I like!). For example, I am helping CTOs of different startups with various tech problems they encounter. I also recently defended my PhD thesis in Software Engineering. I care about Open Source, and I like when my code is simple and maintainable. I'm here to meet interesting people with interesting problems, and do my best to help them! (Note: in case you wonder, helping beginners *is* an interesting problem)

“Dejan was an awesome Leetcode mentor. He went overboard and didn't just walk me through solving a problem, but helped me understand all the core fundamentals behind the solution along with extra communication techniques to stand out in live coding environment. A++ teacher, would definitely work with again!“

“Andrei was really helpful. It was already late in his timezone, so I was gonna give up on my project. But then, he responded right before I lost all my hope. He pointed out something I overlooked, and gave more feedback as well. Literally my life savior.“

“"Excitement" is an incorrect word to describe how overwhelmingly happy I was to finally unravel the advanced concepts of TS. I had an absolute blast of a session, now I'm looking to more discoveries together 🔥“

“We got through comments in my PR, I addressed them, and requested the review. After approval, David taught me how to work with forms in React. The new home assignment included not only a practical part, but also a theoretical one about lifting the state. This way, we'll spend a bit less time during out next session as I'll be slightly prepared. A great approach!“
