I have been working with ruby in the last 7+ years. It is a wonderful language that helped me build a nice freelancing career as a side job. I also have a job as a Software developer In a well known Colombian company.

It is hard to put as tags all the different things I know about rails. I have been working as a freelancer mostly doing Rails and Javascript development of web applications. Most of the applications I can not mention due to NDA's, but I am more than happy to have a chat about my knowledge of this framework.

Oh boy, I started working with Javascript before Jquery made his entrance. I even implement AJAX the old way, before the helpers prototype.js and jquery brought. Back in those days projects could easily have JS files with 1000+ lines of code. Really messy thing to keep in order. Now a days a lot have changed, but still is a great language to work on, and with so many frameworks you can easily get lost. I am currently sticking with React and Redux.
