I started working on distributed systems before cloud became a thing. I was working on the Cell Broadband Engine that empowers Sony Playstation 3 and Roadrunner the supercomputer for Los Alamos National Laboratory. After that I was working on a provisioning platform that we built from scratch to meet with aggressive deadlines and high expectations for a Telco company. I was working as a systems engineer at Amazon on the technical operations team that handles high severity events and manages 1 million physical servers running 4 million virtual operating systems. After a year I have moved over to work on Amazon.com. I have contributed to several projects including moving Amazon.com to AWS and replacing the previous logging stack with an elastically scalable one. I have improved internal monitoring that resulted in massive cost saving. Technology: AWS, Ruby, RedHat, Apache, Git, Perforce

From 2011 to 2015 I was mostly working on petabyte scale data pipelines and warehouses. Successfully delivered several high visibility projects including replacing Google's product search for a large department store and moving a large scale data warehouse from IBM's DB2 to Hadoop/Hive. On the top of engineering duties I have mentored data science teams to improve their workflow and reduce the time needed to develop new reports in the insight pipeline.

I was playing leadership roles for the past five years. 2 years ago I've founded my own company which is growing pretty fast (both the team and the client base). I'm responsible for the overall strategic direction, execution and operations of our vision. I'm working on various projects in the big data and cloud computing space as well.
