Hello everyone, I have been working in the CS industry for ~10 years. I have mainly been working on back-end and research oriented projects involving image processing. If you are looking for understanding how computers work at a deep level (as far as assembly), or want to know how big tech companies (such as Amazon) scale their projects, then I have knowledge to share with you!

I have unbeatable breadth of experience designing and shipping ML/AI/Data Science/Analytics systems for startups and Fortune 500s alike. Between founded companies, consulting projects, and a Caltech PhD, I've shipped work for over 100 organizations. My skills range from low-level bit twiddling to high level concept, design, and communication with non-technical stakeholders. I also have extensive experience in Product Design for ML/AI/DS systems, as well as go-to-market strategy for novel products in this space (I have founded and advised over a dozen such startups).

Hi! I'm an engineer with 14+ years of professional programming experience in machine learning, finance, numerical methods and app/api development. I've worked with startups, well regarded hedge funds and a number of companies as a consultant over this time. I have a wide range of experience with (not limited to) low level/GPU programming (OpenCL/CUDA/C99/C++/ASM), web/api development and machine learning.

Hello, I'm Joseph! I graduated cum laude with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, with a concentration in Game Programing, from DePaul University. During my time in college, I quickly came to the realization that the professors were undoubtedly my greatest asset and would be able to lead me to a successful career. I grew fond of the professors who were engaging, patient, and passionate due to their genuine interest in the various subjects they taught. I always felt comfortable asking questions and venturing beyond the scope of projects because the professors were always there to help. Because of the knowledge I gained throughout my college career, I have pushed myself to also share what I've learned with others, thus leading me to become a tutor. I have spent many years programming in the various C languages, and have worked professionally using them in combination with other languages such as Java and Python. I understand what students will be required to know, and how to push them further ahead, whether it be in class, or a job. I have applied my skills to various game engine developments, networking, and most recently to the virtual and augmented reality world. Most importantly, my understanding of the languages helps me to make learning them fun and engaging!

I'm an astrophysicist (working as an exoplanet researcher) with a background in Solar System and exoplanet research. My main areas of coding expertise are in Python (NumPy, SciPy, Numba, Pandas, Arviz, Matplotlib) and Fortran (parallelisation using OpenMP and MPI). I also have experience in OpenCL for GPU computations, and C and C++. I had my first taste to programming by toying around with small BASIC programs for VIC-20 and C-64 as a kid in late 80's and early 90's. Later, in mid-90's, I learnt Pascal, from where I moved to C and C++. I also learnt some Java in the early 00's, but for the last 20 years I've mostly used Python and Fortran.
