I'm a Product & UX designer with heavy front-end dev experience. I enjoy helping to solve the "visual" challenges created by designers who don't code as well as working with designers to help them discover other techniques to accomplish their goals. In the past, I've taught classroom courses covering web technology, web development, marketing, and design theory. I want others to succeed and I'll work to make sure you understand the why, not just the how.

In the past, I've designed screens using Photoshop & Illustrator. Over the years I migrated to Sketch/Invision. lately, I've been using Figma almost exclusively for both design and collaboration. My focus in any design tool is efficiency and consistency without destroying creativity. I can teach you to build repeatable patterns (design systems) or how to use tools for documentation, prototyping, and sign-off. I also have extensive experience with the rest of Adobe's Creative Suite (I've taught several of them in a classroom setting). There are many options for image, video, and illustration; the key is picking the right tool for the job.
