Been developing Node.js APIs and microservices for a few years now with both ES5 and ES6. I know the goods and the bads of JavaScript, the most common pitfalls and how to avoid them. Keeping code clean, organized and tested, avoiding callback hell, sticking to KISS and DRY principles.

Java is my native language, the one I learned my Object-Oriented fundamentals with. There is a thin line between good and bad OOP code. Sometimes inheritance and design patterns are used just for the sake of it. I like to keep OOP code simple and well structured, not over engineering or optimizing prematurely.
