I was one of the first educators of the node.js library. I was self taught coming from a computer science background. I then immediately started meet-ups in my area and created curriculum to accommodate the lack of learning guides online.

I started using Javascript in high school and later on in my military career to build in house unit websites. I have loved it ever since. Being my primary language of choice, I have mastered the language and its intricacy's it brings. There is no problem too big or too small I cannot answer. If you need a JS guru you have came to the right person.

I started using Ruby and the many Gems when I worked on my first open source project in 2013. I then went on to teach the language at various school like General Assembly, Flatiron School and Codecademy.

I have been using React since its release. I have also used Redux to fix some complexity with state management in React. It has been my go to technology for the last 4 years. I consider myself a React expert.

This is my new favorite database technology. I am a strong advocate of the NoSQL world. I have a certification from MongoDB. I love the aggregation and geospatial feature that it provides.
