After studying Media Information Technologies at the University of Applied Sciences in Wedel, near Hamburg (Germany), I joined several web agencies in the city and worked on dozens of large full-stack and frontend projects, before deciding to go full-in on frontend-development, trying to bring an academical approach to the problems at hand.
Based on this approach I got deeply into Atomic Design, pattern- and component-based frontend-development and the setups needed to sustain this development type and participated and (in large part) implemented the frontends of multiple medium to large projects for customers in need of campaigns, tools or complete systems to build distributed instances of modular websites with the same CI and layouts.
During this time of systematic development I also started mentoring other developers on approaches to frontend-development and regularly coached them during reviews or whenever questions came up due to specific coding problems or during project-planning.
