Building on the above. I've built teams across Europe for several years. Most recently, I've built a number of teams in Poland for Norway's leading digital marketing company to great effect.

Starting out as a Web developer and working for two leading enterprise content management companies (Mediasurface nee SDL, and Interwoven), I've worked with many content management products ranging from free and open source WordPress to enterprise offerings such as Interwoven and Mediasurface/SDL

I've been instrumental in putting together the DevOps strategy for my previous employer. Based around automation and bringing developers & operational resources together in a coherent working team.

Having set up a devops strategy for my previous employer, I'm well-versed in understanding how developers and operations resources can put together a suitable operational understanding that improves the collaborative nature of DevOps.

Primarily a back-end developer, I'm experienced in a number of server technologies that assist web applications to be built simply, reliably, and securely. I'm multi-lingual and platform agnostic when it comes to server technologies.

With the majority of Web applications using a RDBMS of some flavour, it is near impossible to not have SQL experience with SQL for any self-respecting Web application developer. I've worked with many of the standard offerings including mysql, postgresql, mssql and oracle. Along with the noSQL variants including cassandra and mongodb.

I'm a certified scrum master with experience managing multiple teams using scrum as the key development methodology.
