At Shipstation I work as a backend engineer were I build out solutions that help marketplaces connect their products to "ship engine" a software that handles the whole logistics process from label creation to integrating with carriers such as DHL, UPS as well as market places like Amazon, eBay, wish, cdiscount, etc.

At Andela, I mentor junior developers taking them through basic to advanced concepts in programming. I perform code reviews and also oversea technical interviews for senior hires.

Developed a field planner application that helps field workers plan their activities on the field. This app caters to resource allocation, population estimate using extracted features e.t.c tools used React, Typescript, Redux, express/node, Postgres, ElasticSearch, Turf.js, Docker, MapboxGL, TypeORM, Sequelize. ⇢ Also worked on a field tracking system that helps monitor field agents as they go about their daily activities. Tools used, React, typescript, redux, express/node, Postgres, leaflets. ⇢ Developed Logstash pipelines that pull data from different sources and indexes them into Elasticsearch which power Kibana dashboards. ⇢ Suggested a couple of infrastructural changes to support harmonizing multiple data sources so that we have a single source of truth for all our data sets.
