As an engineering team lead, I am brought on to solve complex problems the company faces. I manage team of engineers in an agile environment where we create and sought software engineering best practices in order to create applicatiions and innovate solutions that support Andela's business needs. The roles requires full stack development which means that my development team is primarily responsible for developing backend solutions on a microservice platform that communicates through remote procedural calls (gRPC and protocol buffers for interservice comms) and RESTful gateway. Worked on services written in several languages (Go for API gateway, some services in Python, NodeJS and Ruby). I also worked with the team on several frontends written with ReactJS, Vue and Angular. I am responsible for proffering system designs and architectural solutions to eased development and increased throughput
