As lead architect and coder in Cloud Security Solutions for Enterprises. My main focus is on AWS services that encompasses but not limited to: VPC, EC2, S3, IAM, Cloudformation, Route 53, ElasticCache, RDS, DynamoDB, Directory Service, Certificate Manager, System Manger Agent, Trusted Advisor, CloudWatch and CloudTrail. * (DevOps) Design and implement solution for building automated infrastructure services that support multiple environments in AWS, using Cloudformation, Terraform, Docker, Jenkins, * Concourse, Gitlab,Vault, Ansible, Ruby and Bash. All development work is done using full Agile cycle with Sprints, plaining, daily scrums, demos and deliverables. * Desinged and implement VPC service using Ruby and CloudFormation that automate the creation of VPC with fully segregated subnets, routing tables, NAT gateways, Transit VPC and Network Access Control List (NACL). * Designed and implement Security Groups service, using Ruby and AWS-SDK, that automate the creation, amending and deletion of Ingress and Egress rules. This service uses JSON file as config file. The service is fully idempotent. * Created a wrapper EC2 service that automate the life-cycle of each EC2 instance. Automate user managements on EC2 instances, both Linux and Windows, by joining them to AWS Directory services (Simple AD and Microsoft AD). Thus, diminishing the need to maintain and distributing users public keys on each EC2 instance. * Created fully automated Pipelines in Concourse and Jenkins that trigger the lifecycle for each service. Created InSpec (Ruby based tests) to automatically verify the state of the infrastructure after it’s creation, ensuring all tasks in the infrastructure code is executed and implemented correctly. * All cloud architectural design and implementation was created with highest security level in mind. Therefore surpassing SOC 2 compliance.

Overseeing all DevOps operations at Jostle while improving all aspects of the current Infrastructure from continued integration and Cloud services, to deployment and security, managing and supervising four DevOps engineers. Main Duties Performed: * Redesigned Jostle's cloud security model and improved on it, allowing us to pass SOC 2 audit. Improved the LAN security infrastructure. * Automated the creation of Docker (Java micro-service applications), and distributed those applications using Docker Registry 2 and AWS S3 mounted as a network filesystem. Automated the software deployment into AWS using Ansible. * designed and built High avalability (HA) Auto scaled Jenkins continuation server for improving performance and cost. * Co-coordinated and architected the software migration of clients between Amazon accounts. Key Systems/Software used: * Built two weeks cycle for test environemt pipeline followed by two weeks of production pieplie. * Automated QA and Test pipelines. * Automated the creation and deployment of newly created websites (Dungeons and Dragons, SIMS4, Need for speed) on AWS following agile full life cycle. * Used Chef and Jenkins to automate the configuration and deployment of such sites. * Created cookbook wrappers to reuse and build on top of exiting code. * Automated monitoring, by creating Sensu checks and graphite metrics. * Created Ruby automation scripts . * Captured vital systems and services metrics using Graphite and Grafana. * Automated the creation of new dashboard (dashing.io) templates and layouts using Ruby and Jenkins. * Took full ownership of the infrastructure for each project (site).
