Supporting the development of sites and applications using PHP and the various frameworks, I have a good understanding of CSS and HTML to achieve responsive, fast and beautiful design.

I have been a PHP developer for the last 13 years.. During this time I have developed custom operational apps and sites, and have also developed back-office processing solutions on large scale (150+ users 200k+ daily orders). I use fast prototyping frameworks and use the very best of standard technology and shared source (bootstrap3, laravel, slim).

I have developed many web based solutions and applications that utilise MySQL. I have great experience in the subtle differences of SQL between oracle, MySQL, MS SQL, Access and file based database such as Foxpro DBFs.

I have been involved and lead many business intelligence projects in both the Microsoft and open source stacks. I have experience in database programming as well as advance query writing, data layer development to support all aspects of business intelligence and reporting.

Back office processing in finance was my first experience of VBA back in 1999. I provide continual support for complex spreadsheets (mainly supporting accounting or statistical analysis reporting).
