Been developing for Django since version 0.96 beta. I'm the creator of Mayan EDMS (www.mayan-edms.com) one of the biggest project built using Django (50K lines of code). Project uses jQuery and a custom Bootstrap template on the frontend. On the backend Django is used along integrations with many Python libraries (https://gitlab.com/mayan-edms/mayan-edms/blob/master/requirements/base.txt). The project does OCR (Tesseract) using a distributed worker system via brokers (REDIS or RabbitMQ). The project also provides a REST API interface. Mayan EDMS is translated in 22 languages in a collaborative manner (https://www.transifex.com/rosarior/mayan-edms/dashboard/). The project is used by Intel, University of Montrel, the Deloitte accounting firm, and the state of California, among others (https://www.mayan-edms.com/cases/) I'm also the creator of Awesome Django (www.awesome-django.com), one of the two cannocial lists of projects for the Django framework. Out of the 9,515 Django repositories in GitHub, Awesome-Django is the 5th most starred (https://github.com/topics/django?o=desc&s=stars) and the 5th most starred in all of GitLab (https://gitlab.com/explore/projects/starred). http://emisionestoxicaspr.org - Government public geospatial app to display toxic emissions and census statistics based on map area selection. Project used JQuery on the frontend and Django managing a PostGIS database for the geospatial queries.

Have been an Ubuntu user since the first release. Have been using is exclusively for the last 8 years for Desktop usage, server usage and as my main development platform.
