Started working with Java technologies at University/College and worked with it professionally ever since at all levels. Started out as a junior, moved to mid and senior and have held Engineering Lead, Technical Lead and Architect roles in Java based technology stacks. I did do a Java certification many years ago (Java 5). These days I am usually working with Java 8 with Spring Boot within a Microservices architecture on cloud platforms a lot.

Been working with the Spring Libraries for Java since Spring 2. Started out as Dependency Injection, Spring Integration and MVC to now working with Spring Boot for building Microservices.

Have worked with various relational databases throughout my career and particularly the Oracle RDBMS including PL SQL for large corporations. Usually used in conjunction with Java applications.

Have worked in agile development teams for a number of years now and most clients insist on teams to work like this. I have experiencd working with agile methodologies correctly and have corrected teams who have not. I have held a Scrum Master position within a development team and helped coach and transition them from more traditional methodologies to Agile. I have experience in both Scrum and Kanban.

Although this is not my day to day work I have set up a Jenkins pipeline for a client with automated tests and deployment. Most of my other experience is working with pipelines as part of agile development teams usually working with cloud platforms. Currently I'm using it with Microsoft Azure.
