I have used PHP for a few years, it was one of the first real server side technologies I began to use extensively and taught myself from scratch. It is from here that I decided to undertake my degree in computing science. I have created full websites powered by PHP offering bespoke content management systems, search functions, upload and download capabilities and more. I have generally moved away from PHP in my career, and many people have a few choice words to say about PHP, but I will always have a soft spot for it myself!
