I started working day to day with React when I began modernizing the UI architecture of the enterprise system I am building with my team (see Employment). In my current position I work full time on React / TypeScript based libraries and frontend applications as a senior engineer. 90% of the time I use React/Redux with Typescript, bundling with Webpack. This stack - while requiring a little more code - allows me to have complex type checking at compile time, leading to less bugs and cleaner code, while building fast and modern single page applications.

I started "way back then" with .NET 4.0, I mostly built Windows Forms based desktop applications, the most notable being an administrator panel for a custom built PHP webshop I developed for a client. When the first Windows 8 Developer Previews came out in 2011 I started building Metro / Modern / whatever it was called then applications for the new Windows Store. Did I mention I'm keen on new technologies? ;) I did that for a few years, then started moving towards web applications running ASP.NET MVC, later ASP.NET Core, which is what I'm doing in the majority of my time today. Of course I not all my projects are web based, my platform of choice for desktop applications is WPF, and for mobile projects Xamarin.Android. Along the way, I was never satisfied with the "How", I always wanted to know the "Why". I read multiple books and articles about C# language features, how they work, the internals of the .NET CLR, garbage collection, tasks, threading, etc. I love optimizing systems, as much as I love creating them. I also completed my Microsoft Certified Professional certification in C# programming.

I have been working 25+ hours a week with ASP.NET Web API 2 / ASP.NET Core for more than 3 years now. Combined with my solid C# understanding I believe I can satisfy any business requirement you may have for your custom API, while maintaining high quality and and highly performant architectures and code.

Before my transition into C# I worked almost exclusively with PHP. I have plenty of experience in a wide variety of tasks, including fully custom PHP development, Wordpress customization, ecommerce solutions, but also server administration.
