Built my own hybrid app fully with React and since then helped multiple global enterprises as well as small startups to built their applications and prototypes. I am closely following the development in the area, I even have hooks in production for a side project.

I have built several MVPs and Prototypes with firebase. I used all components that can be used from web applications. This includes the heavy use of Firestore, Storage, Authentication and cloud functions for backend logic as well as scripts. In my opinion it is a perfect technology to get things off the ground fast.

I built a product that was proxying the Salesforce Rest API with garphql so it could be easily consumed by a react client app. This included several performance critical features such as optimistic responses and caching.

Our complete backend which is used by up to 50.000 users is built with node and hapi.js and can handle up to 20.000 concurrent requests.

My current stack is completely built on Javascript and it is the main technology that we use on a daily basis. We grew our Javascript App to 50.000 Users and can handle 20.000 concurrent requests.

For our backend, we mainly use postgresql as data store and due to the nature of an monolithic app, the database becomes the bottleneck very fast. In order to avoid issues I had to do a lot performance tweaking.
