I am a Software Engineering Consultant based in Gloucester, UK. I have been developing software for a variety of industries, including Smart Card, Digital Media, Digital Publishing and Health Services, for almost 20 years.
My main language has always been C++, although I have considerable experience in Java and C#.
My client base currently includes providers of digital publishing software, elearning services and healthcare. I pride myself in close collaboration with customers and clients.

C++ has been my main language for almost 2 decades. I have worked on both client and server applications, command line and GUI interfaces and cross platform code bases. I have worked with Qt as a core application framework for a considerable portion of the time and embrace a large amount of C++11 contructs where appropriate. Some of my blog articles reflect this. I am wary of rating myself on C++ as there are some very clever people in the C++ world!
