Having spent many years as a "bedroom" developer, I worked freelance for three years, then as a senior developer for five more in an international company. To me, C++ is as much of an martial-art as it is a programming language, requiring skill, dedication, and deep understanding.

Having found myself in a professional development setting six years ago, I quickly adapted to using Git on a day-to-day basis, facing a multitude of difficult tasks along the way.

Visual studio has been my preferred IDE for a decade, it's flexible UI and powerful debugging capacity is only matched by it's hidden features - such as the powerful property sheets system.

Developing OpenGL applications started as a hobby for myself, however I found myself being employed for my skill on the topic. While I've become somewhat rusty on the more advanced functionality (such as render-to-texture and framebuffer shader effects) I'm proficient in all basic OpenGL tasks.
