I've utilized Python on the highly demanding academic research environment. Such professional uses in this level include system administration, unit testing, scientific computing, and data analysis. My tutoring experience in Python spans over three years, and includes not only assisting students in specific projects - such as in data science and computational biology, for example - but also at the most basic level for middle school and high school individuals. I've also done hobby-level work in web development using Django and Flask frameworks.

My MATLAB expertise extends to both the academic research and open-source level. At a Neuroscience lab, I've built programs & scripts in the language for fMRI data analysis and system administrative tools for other members of the lab. I've also contributed to an open source project in MATLAB (GraphVar) through my knowledge of code optimization to increase the project's performance.

In addition to designing software, I also created shell scripts to automate many of the workflows that were previously performed manually by members of a Neuroscience lab. The time saved was exponential, and I regularly held workshops teaching others on best practices and concepts of bash scripting.

I've applied the R programming languages in many different fields, such as in business, visualization, and academic research. Rather than simply teach the basics of R programming, I go above and beyond by instilling sustainable coding practices for those who do not a Computer Science background.

Since high school, I've exhibited industry-level skills in video editing, regardless of project type or timeline. Regardless of deadline, the products I've created yield high client satisfaction and actual results. My work in editing a Kickstarter video helped the project successfully fund on time. A 50-minute documentary on a music band was edited in merely a few weeks. Finally, an educational video I produced and edited garnered national recognition from SkillsUSA, a student-led Career & Technical Organization.
