I've used PHP for over 10 years and at 3+ companies to develop websites, web applications, APIs, SDKs, CLI tools, and more. My greatest strengths here lie in creating libraries (both for OSS and internal company use) that follow the latest standards and take advantage of the latest language features. At my current company, I aided in the transition to use Composer, PHP 7, Laravel, and more, following best practices. I maintain several internal libraries that are critical to our microservices archtitecture, and also contribute heavily to three core applications and APIs. At my previous position at Amazon Web Services, I worked in the Developer Resources department, where I co-authored the AWS SDK for PHP, using extensive knowledge of Guzzle, HTTP, streams, JSON, XML, Unit Testing, OSS best practices, and more.

I've been involved in the production and contribution to Open Source Software (including commercial, community, and personal) for around 8 years. I've contributed to several frameworks (Laravel, Kohana) and libraries (Guzzle, AWS SDK for PHP), as well as created my own (Super Closure, XStatic, Acclimate, µ).
