Key responsibilities included interfacing with the Nexidia library to implement keyword spotting in video streams. I was also a founding member of the Cisco Speech Group and worked alongside research scientists to aid in the development of an in house speech recognition system.

I've worked on Rails projects big and small and it's still probably the technology stack I love the most. It comes together in a beautiful way. From writing an admin interface that would infer everything from model definitions to creating gems, I've done quite a few things and continue to develop in Rails when writing web applications. It's also still the only platform on which I've done Salesforce work.

Struts, Java, JSP, Javascript, AJAX, HTML/CSS and some SQL were needed to perform primary job function. - Developed new features for the UI, above-mentioned technologies used. - Designed and implemented large portion of low-level backend code for a large module (in C/C++) for the same product. Also helped in the design of and solely implemented the UI, which included Struts, Java, Javascript and interacting with Flash components through Javascript. Helped in the development of requirements, interacting with the marketing team to come up with specifications that met the needs of the product.
