I scaled my skills in Ruby on Rails and web development in general by scaling the SAAS product SupportBee. SupportBee is a customer support tool with a single page frontend. The backend is primarily a REST API server + A robust mail parser + App platform for 3rd party apps. Initially, I was the sole developer of all these components. Later on, a small team took over the code base. All the best practices in programming like BDD, Continous Integration etc. were followed during the development of this application. Since moving on from SupportBee, I have been involved in architecting an IoT analytics platform, a payment solution, and an influencer management platform. I am looking forward to architectural challenges and solving interesting problems.

I was involved in the design and development of SupportBee's web API. We took an API-first approach to development which led to a well-designed API for SupportBee. I implemented the API server with automated API endpoint integration tests. I am also experienced in concepts like API versioning and API documentation.

I was involved in writing an Email parsing library on top of Ruby's mail gem. (I did it in Ruby. I choose Python as Ruby isn't available) The parser could handle non-mail-spec complaint emails and encodings. I have experience in configuring Mailgun as a transactional email server.
