I have over 8 years of professional back-end experience using PHP (especially WordPress). I've completed 600+ projects including custom CMS development, WordPress plugin and theme creation, various Payment Gateway integrations, some work with Laravel and Slim and a whole bunch of various Composer packages.

I have over 8 years of professional WordPress experience developing both plugins and themes. I'm also an active participant in WordPress community efforts by being a Core Contributor and a Translation Contributor as well.

While PHP has been the main focus of my career it has taken a back seat in recent years due to the advent of reactive JavaScript libraries such as React and Vue. Implementations that I have worked on include usage in legacy projects, Cordova app + RESTful API, a little bit of React + Next SSR among others.

Modern web development is more often than not tied to Node-powered build tools which is why I have grown accustomed to using them. In addition, Node is also a very powerful utility for writing CLI tools for work automation (I've developed an internal scaffolding tool which helps developers not waste their time on setting up projects and their dev environment). My experience with using Node as a web server is rather limited but this is only due to the lack of professional opportunities rather than the lack of desire.

While not my main skill focus, you can't do full back-end web development without proper HTML and CSS knowledge. I have experience with cross-browser caveats and various tricks to achieve whatever I may need.
