Project highlights: -- Global Return Asset Management (current client) -- • Reputable New York based hedge fund managing assets using a variety of risk-based strategies. • Built and currently maintain an algorithm in Python that evaluates past portfolio performance, to optimise future strategies. The analysis is then used by the fund manager to implement strategy adjustments. -- RSA Insurance -- • Delivered a set of Tableau dashboards that track the performance of over 100 car repair garages across Canada. • Trained staff to use the dashboards effectively through tailored training programmes and workshops. • The analysis allows them to optimise processing times and explore ways to reduce costs. -- CentroMotion -- • A leading US hydraulics / brakes manufacturing company. I worked with their procurement team to analyse the cost-savings and potential benefit of switching the supplier base from the US to low-cost countries. • Used SQL and Python, with results presented in Tableau and Excel, producing an estimated 25% saving of parts and raw materials costs. -- Independent financial traders -- • Worked with experienced traders (10+ years exp.) to develop automated trading algorithms, including high frequency trading strategies for FX and US futures contracts. • This involves creating back-testing models, iterative testing, and reconciliation. • Tools used include Python, SQL, Excel and MQL5 (a trading algorithm language similar to C++).

• Was responsible for a five-person team that delivered Efficio analytics products to internal and external clients. • Worked within many sectors including energy / utilities, manufacturing, financial services and public healthcare. • Expanded service offerings by rapidly growing the cross-functional team from one to five members within six months. • Enhanced customer satisfaction by implementing usage dashboards and conducting feedback sessions, resulting in a 50% increase in usage within six months. • Cultivated strong relationships with internal and external senior stakeholders, identifying technology use cases, contributing to product development, and successfully selling Efficio product suite licenses.

• Product owner and client delivery lead of the Efficio eFlow Sourcing Analytics product. This provided quantitative analysis of procurement sourcing tenders (MySQL, Tableau, VBA, Python). • Improved the product scalability and reliability through code refinement, process automation and the creation of a no-code set-up wizard, reducing setup time from five days to one hour. • Collaborated with Consulting, Product and Engineering teams across many projects and internal workstreams, resulting in the development of successful tech products and the delivery of procurement analysis.
