I'm developing Java and Java EE applications since Java 1.4/J2EE. My expertise covers most of the know APIs in Java/Java EE.

My experience with JavaScript started at 2002 and I've developed many web applications in pure JavaScript. In recent years, despite of focusing more on the server side technologies, I'm still interested in using this language in freelance projects. Hence I follow latest news about techniques developed by third party libraries and frameworks as well as the language itself.

I was in charge of developing back-end services in some startup projects all developed using Node.js. It's a topic that I'm really interested in.

I've setup almost all of my projects in recent years using Maven. Also I've migrated almost all legacy projects of the company to Maven 3.

Since J2EE age, which started at about 12 years ago, I used to incorporate JSP in almost all projects to develop the GUI of web applications.

I worked with RESTfull APIs and specifically JAX-RS in last few years and now I'm using it as a basis to design all services required by presentation layer of Java EE applications I'm involved in.

The EJB is my favorite technology to implement the business services in Java EE applications. I worked with EJB since EJB 2.0 (in J2EE 1.4) and nowadays the EJB 3.1 is my first choice to implement the service layer.
