When my shell scripts started to get to ambitious and complex, I decided to learn Python. Now I build my own programs from scratch and use them in bash scripts too.

I use bash every day. I write a lot of private (and public) tools with bash and other UNIX shells. Also, I sometimes write Windows .bat scripts, and use cmd.exe, powershell, etc. Mostly in a security-related capacity. It's all about automation; gathering all your tools and instructing them on how to work together in a cohesive manner.

10-15 years as an independent security researcher, vulnerability exposer, exploit writer, penetration tester, physical security consultant. Basically I find ways to do the things that aren't supposed to be possible. I like to build my own tools from scratch. This is my element.

Typesetting, Vectors, Diagrams, Mathematics, Scientific Illustration, Data Visualization, Flowcharts, Tables, Reports, Articles, Typography. I also do freestyle graphic design, photography, page designs, etc. Basically, these are the tools to make digital content look great. From posters, avatars & logos, etc. to resumés, assignments, scientific journals, & PhD theses.

I started writing C programs in January 2019. It's not my greatest strength. I have much more experience breaking them (in a security context – buffer overflows, etc.) than building them.

I've been using some form of Unix daily for over a decade.

Spectral / signal analysis. Reverse engineering various proprietary protocols.
