Identified big and small opportunities to improve the developer experience while leading projects and architecting the necessary systems to support company goals. - Proposed and implemented the automated creation of API documentation and Postman collections sourced from code. - Identified live API calls as a source of test flakiness. Proposed and implemented a strategy to bring visibility to unmocked calls in tests and decouple tests from the LaunchDarkly feature flag state. - Created a code generator to generate boilerplate and encourage best practices for common engineering tasks. - Wrote documentation for challenging common tasks that I encountered in my day-to-day work.

Enthusiastically and fearlessly jumped into whatever task needed to be done to improve the product or troubleshoot a production bug, whether that was standing up a new Node microservice, diving into a major refactor of a React app, or spelunking through Splunk logs to diagnose an issue. Worked primarily in React, Node, and Typescript, with some exposure to Python and Golang.

Implemented and troubleshooted AngularJS energy efficiency widgets. Adapted client Javascript to work within the Opower platform. Created several Node.js command line tools that dramatically decreased the time required to complete common tasks.
