For sure the best Frontend Framework in my opinion. Versatility, Freedom and pure JavaScript for the most part. It allows me to work blazingly fast, modularly and with high performance.

I started developing with JavaScript during my Bachelor studies, when I joined a large insurance company in Germany as an intern and helped refactor their frontend codebase from SAP to a JavaScript codebase. This lead to me deciding on pursuing a career in Frontend Web Development. At this point I started working on React as a Freelancer on private projects in parallel to my full-time job, to get as much experience as possible. Finally I then moved to Cologne, where I landed a job as a Frontend Developer at a FinTech startup with a lot of experienced Software Developers. Here I broadened my horizon with Angular, Unit-Testing, E2E-Testing and general Architectural infrastructure topics, that arose. I definitely learned most of the solid knowledge and my obsession with clean and scalable code from here. I then switched to Homelike to focus on my true love: React. I rapidly rose to Lead Frontend Engineer and I helped in rebuilding and restyling the biggest part of our codebase. In total that lead to contributations of more than 30000 changed lines of code for the last 3 months. Now we are able to focus on expanding our technical code much faster, with many aspiring Frontend Developers starting soon.

I have been building websites with Gatsby for 2 years now. The Static Pages are the fastest I have ever developed and thanks to React easy to build and very modular. My biggest Project was combining Shopify and Gatsby to build one of the fastest shops right now.

We built a tool for our suppliers, to manage their properties and their bookings. The process from selecting a tech stack and making crucial changes in the development process, to the whole development was done by me and my team. React Native is the for me the future of App Development, thanks to its cross-platform features and its Composition focus because of React.

As for most developers, this is a required expertise that I mastered. Especially version controlling in large teams, and working with Gitflow and Rebasing in large projects. Keeping the git history clean should be a high priority, expecially when other people have to track your changes and work on the same code after you.

Using GraphQL as the Layer between Frontend and Backend is my favorite way of developing applications. It is fast, performant and easy to use.
