Security org: • Worked within an agile co-located global team developing out features for BigFix Detect (An EDR security web app). • Designed, implemented, and demoed new front-end features. • Developed a test automation framework with Python & Selenium which ran on a nightly Jenkins build. • Sports & social committee member. Held events for my colleagues and their families. Resilient org: • Automated builds using Jenkins (CI mostly, a small bit of CD). • Built out the backend with Java utilizing technology such as Jersey, Hibernate, JMS and PostgresSQL. • Created unit, integration, and end to end tests using tools such as Selenium, Spock, and TestNG. • Worked in an agile manner with scrums, code reviews, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups. • Developed the product within a VM. • Worked on the auditing feature so that user actions were traceable. This is an important feature for compliance reasons. This involved skills such as Logback, SLF4J, JUL, Splunk, Gradle, and JMX. • Trained the QA team on how to use our test automation framework (Groovy and Selenium). • Mentored an intern for nine months, which included quarterly one-to-ones.
