I've been leading engineering teams as a dev for about 4 years now. I love mentoring people and upskilling them, sharing my experience with them in as many ways as possible. Out of my current team of 5 (other) engineers, every single one of them has reached a promotion, partly due to my guidance.

I mostly work with Java Spring Boot apps, but have some experience with Python, C#, and I've done a fair bit of front end work using TypeScript for both Angular and React.

I'm a big believer in terse code - code that is succinct yet clear, and in making extensible, clear components that you can re-use as much as possible.

I've worked in a variety of environments, such as finance, transportation, and currently I work in the supply chain of a large retailer. I believe that any challenge can be overcome with the help of good code!
