Hello! I'm have over a decade of Ruby and Javascript experience developing for mobile, desktop, and API clients.
I'm an expert in rapid prototyping while taking steps to make it scalable for that big growth day. I am also an expert at surgically, but quickly, doing refactors of large swaths of legacy code, even giant monoliths. I can implement and design any interfaec, whether it's for a human or a machine. I can build strictly standards-compliant when requested (PCI, 509a, and more), integrate with any API (whether it's 3-months or 3-decades old), build systems that fail gracefully, and automate the management of server infrastructure scaling.
I provide a pragmatic quality control and shipping process via automated testing, continuous deployment, and software management strategies that inherently manage project risk and ensures that a "wow" experience is delivered to the customer. I know how to manage software projects iteratively and transparently to keep work chunks manageable, deadlines predictable, and meet stakeholders expectations.
