Helped upgrade BuffaLogs, a web based security tool from Django 5.2.X to 6.0. Also developed a dev container configuration for developers to work in a consistent environment enabling debugging, linting and formatting.

Built a fully event-driven OCR service that converts PDFs/images into searchable PDFs. Enhanced a synchronous service into a fun mix of Celery chords, distributed workers, PaddleOCR quirks, file-level orchestration, and lots of debugging I didn’t expect.

Developed a comprehensive security analysis GitHub Workflow scanning for secrets, security vulnerabilities in code, container images, dependencies, IaC etc. even scanning for licenses and compliances. Resulted in enforcing security best practices and identifying issues early.

Built a self-hosted AI document pipeline using Python, PaddleOCR, and Ollama. Integrated with Paperless-NGX to auto-classify documents using local OCR and LLMs — resulting in improved OCR and AI capabilities of Paperless-NGX.

Developed a phishing detection microservice that analyzes inbound emails (via Postmark) and scores them for potential phishing indicators. The solution combines heuristics like mismatched links, suspicious reply-to addresses etc. with machine learning-based email intent classification to provide explainable, interpretable results.

Developed microservices using FastAPI, implementing JWT authentication and AI training back-end jobs. Resulting in a reusable micro service across various projects.

Implemented secure context aware Django RESTful solution resulting in 100% automation of processes requiring human intervention.
