Through my employer, I am available for short- and long-term projects as a contractor / consultant. I work on different projects and get to know multiple work environments, IT systems and solutions. I see myself primarily as a consultant, hired to improve the present systems or consult on to-be-defined architectures.

The Scanblue Engineering AG offers solutions for converting real world physical objects into 3D models. Scanblue developed a 3D scanner stationed at the customer’s location which is an easy-to-use device to quickly turn objects into 3D models. The whole process is fully automated. The models can be downloaded within a few hours or days, depending on the complexity of the object. These models then can be used in online shops or for AR/VR solutions. My task within this project is consulting in regards to the architecture withing the Azure Cloud. I was tasked to conceptualize and implement a solution to track 3D model downloads and provide statistics about the downloads, like the origin of the download, the total count of downloads per model etc. The task I am currently working on is a solution to track metrics, logs and traces in an APM (Application Performance Monitoring) system. In this project I was tasked to support the development team in the creation of a solution to provide updated prices to PoS stations. The system was conceptualized from the ground up in cooperation with different departments of the company. The solution had to fulfill a multitude of requirements including, but not limited to: Scalability, Global Application (Multi Country / Multi Currency), Integration of third parties (Governments, Transparency Agencies, Price Portals), Fully configurable engine to calculate prices based on rules. The solution was developed for the Azure Cloud at first, but due to company policy changes we needed to adapt and move to AWS.
