Managed a 7-member full-stack development team to build and maintain the backend and web-frontend for orders, promotions, and customers modules across all D2C apps and websites.

• Completely owned development and maintenance of high-scale (throughput: 250M+ requests/month) and highly available (> 99.99%, in 2/3 quarters in 2022) distributed systems.
• Led 20 engineers across teams to build the Group Ordering feature - multiple customers across single/multiple locations order food together through a single cart. Designed complete high-level architecture and backend low-level architecture. Implemented the critical notifications framework and other crucial cart functionalities.
• Designed and led the development of large and complex projects, including Customer Segmentation, Order Livestreaming, and All Services Migration.
• Spearheaded initiatives to achieve > 55% drop in critical APIs’ latency through caching, reduced inter-service communications, database optimisations, and code refactorings.
