I'm a former language teacher that now works in web development and course creation.
I've been in education for over 6 years, and I love mentoring students online. One of the most satisfying parts of my job as a course developer is interacting with the students, and helping them with their problems.
While I generally work in front end development, specialising in CSS, I've fallen in love with Python over this past year, and love introducing new people to the language. I also dabble in Rust and Go, and I have a strong understanding of JavaScript and some modern JavaScript frameworks like Vue.

I use HTML and CSS every day as part of my job in web development. I really specialise in the use of CSS, and I'm familiar with a wide variety of advanced CSS techniques. I'm also very comfortable with a number of CSS libraries and preprocessors that are common in modern web development.
CSS and HTML are relatively easy languages to get working with, but I find that many people don't use them well. Too often we hear about how bad CSS is, but really people are forcing a square peg through a round hole. I personally love CSS, and given time, I'm sure I can make you love it too.
