Architected, implemented, maintained, and managed an ETL infrastructure built upon Airflow and Presto. Designed, built, and maintained automation tools to simplify common tasks and developed custom jobs to handle specific problems. Utilized Jenkins, Terraform, Ansible, and Docker to codify, update, maintain, and deploy infrastructure and code. Worked with business and technical stakeholders to develop requirements, communicate changes, and fulfill needs of all parties. Mentored and collaborated with technical colleagues to design, implement, and improve ETL and other technical projects. Championed changes in organizational and engineering processes including technical leadership, data correctness, and platform architecture. Communicated with, educated, and addressed concerns of coworkers on business and non-technical teams.

Architected, replaced, built, and maintained Java REST services utilizing Jetty, RestEasy, Guice, and JPA. Created and maintained a Maven build environment. Built stream processing and aggregation flows with Spark Streaming and Kafka sinking data into S3 and PostgreSQL.

Architected, led, built, and maintained backend Java REST services on top of DropWizard. Created and maintained a consistent build environment utilizing Jenkins, Maven (base pom), Nexus, GitHub and an open source software deployment platform called Airship [https://github.com/airlift/ airship].
