Gained the confidence of the architects and my superiors shortly after joining, and was thus able to implement numerous improvements to the existing system, which resulted in immediate positive results. For example by increasing Unit Test Coverage of legacy code and fixing database bottlenecks decreasing page load time by an order of magnitude. Having worked at Brightside for only a few months, I was entrusted with the production of assessment tests for the new intake of graduates. Successfully launched and ran initiatives to improve the system in the long run, such as a project to update the outdated PHP system. Gained real world experience working in a sprint teams in an agile environment.
