It started with writing PHP extensions in C for custom indexing and searching, to a custom PHP framework, full blown CRM systems, CMS systems, mobile applications using the Ionic Framework and SPA's using Laravel and Vue.js. SCIP Engineering Group initially required a system to manage their projects and clients related to those projects. Originally the application was written in vanilla PHP without using a specific framework. As the project continued SCIP invested more and more into converting their business logic into systems for easy adoption and optimal efficiency. At the moment the system manages most of the elements in the organisation ranging from realtime cashflow integration to time and budget based task management. The system currently consists of four key modules: Admin, Finance, House and Subsidy. The current application stack uses Mysql, Laravel 9, Vue.js, Jquery and Coreui (a Bootstrap Based Admin Dashboard). We create an additional time logging mobile application to help employees log time against Clients, Projects and Tasks. The mobile solution was done using the Ionic Framework and native mobile functionality is enabled through Ionic Capacitor.
