Joaquin Guardado

I'm an experienced Full Stack Python and Javascript developer with five plus years in this field, mainly building Django, Flask, React and React Native apps. I graduated from Code Fellows coding academy in Seattle, WA and recently became a recipient of the Grow with Google Android Developer scholarship.

While attending coding school I realized programming is a natural human skill similar to writing and reading and it can be learned by anyone, as long as the teacher makes it enjoyable, engaging and offer additional help and clarification to help reinforce the material learned in class. I include that experience to my approach in coaching. I make things simple, easy to digest, and enjoyable. Afterwards I recommend practice and suggest real world projects that help build the students portfolio.
My mission is to coach students who could use some help getting started in programming, need help getting unstuck or even programmers with some experience who want to build their skills.
