I've always been a fan of Apple, and when the iOS SDK was released I knew it was something I had to get into. I started developing iOS apps on the side while working towards my computer science degree, and since then have turned it into a full time career. I love how mobile development is truly "full stack" from database management to UI. I'm here to help with the opportunities and challenges that presents.

I believe that every great developer should master their tools, and Git is a very common one. Unfortunately, Git can also be confusing out of the box. I've been using Git on all of my projects for years (from the terminal and using GUI tools such as Tower), and I'm still learning new ways that it can help in day-to-day development. I've used many of the common workflows and experienced their pitfalls.

Xcode is the go-to IDE for the majority of developers in the Apple ecosystem. I've been using Xcode since v4. I know its tricks, and when it makes sense to use a different tool.
