Almost all Ruby on Rails applications I have worked with used MongoDB as a data storage. I have been given talks about the key features of MongoDB such as index optimization and data structure design. I already reviewed a book about MongoDB and will review a second one in the coming months. I would not judge myself as an expert regarding the aggregation part of MongoDB but I know the basics.
