Soko is a US global fast-fashion distributed manufacturer and retailer for handcrafted jewellery. Accomplishments: - Migrated their legacy system to a microservice architecture to support scalability. - Refactored most of their legacy code for code maintainability. - Introduced continuous integration, deployment and delivery of code. This slashed by half the time it takes to deploy new features. - Improved security of their apps by performing software quality and standards tests. - Trained team members on better software engineering skills to enhance capacity development. - Trained product manager and other team members on proper business process management techniques to improve existing business processes. - Proposed coding standards and policies that were adopted as the team’s Standard Operating Procedures.
