• Led a team of engineers and co-ops in creating and maintaining web applications for clients such as P&G, Johnson & Johnson, and BD. • Mentored junior developers, gave technical presentations, interviewed potential candidates, gave hiring recommendations, and refined development and project management processes. • Implemented scripts to improve code quality and automate manual tasks; performed code reviews; and set standards around security, automated testing, documentation, and version control. • Created custom TypeScript, Python, and Ruby packages used across various applications and internal projects; created CI/CD pipelines for testing and deployment; integrated monitoring and analytics into new and existing applications to keep track of application performance, server uptime, CPU load, memory usage, disk space usage, etc.

• Contributed to front-end React components and back-end Node services to maintain and improve the cart, order scheduling, payment, and checkout experiences. • Worked with other teams and coordinated / delegated work for larger, more complex efforts like incorporating new delivery methods (Instacart, ship-to-home), adding new third-party payment options (Google Pay, Chase Pay, EBT), updating the UX design and branding, etc. • Pair-programmed with other members of my team and gave talks and demonstrations on topics like functional programming and advanced JavaScript / TypeScript / React features.

• Added new features to both the front-end React / Redux app and the back-end Node API, along with unit tests, functional tests, and extensive documentation. • Added new third-party integrations to the API for services like Google BigQuery and CloudML. • Contributed to open-source projects to fix bugs and created new open-source packages.
