I've been using Django extensively for over a decade. I'm active in the community and make regular code contributions to it. I've worked for both agencies and on products, so I have breadth and depth of expertise. I follow the best practices where appropriate (almost always). I've also used Django REST Framework extensively.

I've been using Python for well over a decade, and Python 3 for longer than has been fashionable. Mostly I work with Django and other web frameworks such as fastapi, but I'm comfortable anywhere in the Python space.

I started with web development back when most sites were static, used frames, or at best tables for layout. Thankfully things have only got better over time, and so have I. I'm not a designer, so don't expect anything to look great, but you can expect well-formed and well-structured semantic HTML and CSS.

The only database I enjoy working with, I've been using it on and off for a decade or so and consistently over the last 5 years after I stopped working with MySQL and others.

I mostly use Docker as a way to have more reproducible environments. I almost always use it when developing and often right the way through to deployment.

I use this for a lot of my personal sites because it's just so easy to use. I've also used it a few times for clients who want to manage their own infrastructure.

I'm not a big fan of MySQL, but I have used it for a long time. I don't use it much these days, but I do keep it around.
